Thank you for your help!
What a crazy week last week! Huge thanks to everyone for being so accommodating with pickups. Brian is still in California waiting for the windows to come in so he can secure the house. I’m still with Mom working on her knee replacement recovery. She’s in a lot of pain, but handling PT like a champ. Since she wouldn’t let me take her picture, I’ll instead show you little Abagail, who says:
“If you too want delicious Danzeisen, get your orders in by Monday at midnight for this Wednesday’s delivery!”
Daddy has been feeding us well. He made some delicious chicken tenders using the lemon balsamic glaze from the MPM. Here’s a link to how he prepared it.
A few months ago, our pal Laurie gave us some delicious Japanese Barbecue Sauce. It’s sweet and flavorful and so good drizzled over vegetables or rice or noodles. So many sauces are filled with unpronounceable ingredients. Not this one. The founder, Justin, dreamed of bringing his “Bachan’s” (granny’s) sauce to the world, and he honored her recipe.
From Justin: “To stay true to the original recipe, we cold-fill our sauce—which eliminates any need for additives, preservatives, or flavorings. Our crave-worthy flavor comes naturally from delicious, clean ingredients. Let’s eat!”
If you like pistachios as I do, you will love this nut butter. It’s delicious spread on a salty cracker or added to oatmeal or simply eaten right out of the jar. Only ingredient? Pistachios.
Kalamata & Oregano Spread
The Kalamata spread arrived last week and I love it as much as I loved the Red Pepper & Graviera! Intense Kalamata flavor.
New Holiday Makabi Flavor
These wonderful shortbread butter cookies from Makabi & Sons not only have gorgeous packaging (perfect for gifting), but they are also exceptionally good. “Noel,” their seasonal favorite, is made with rich cocoa, creamy coconut, and toasted pecans. Available only through the holidays.
We are restocked on several Theo Chocolate varieties–like Cinnamon Horchata and Almond Coconut Bites, PLUS, two holiday varieties: Gingerbread Spice and Milk & Cookies!
From our friends at Hand-N-Hand Designs, an adorable Christmas tile! It would make a great trivet on a holiday table. As with all their tiles, these are handmade in Tucson!
Brian had a fun idea! Use the tile as a perpetual Christmas card! Here’s the concept: use the tile one year, sign the back, then pass it on to friends or family to use the next year, then they will do the same!
Gift baskets and gift cards are available again this year! If you’d like to put something together, you can do so in person or via email. We can also handle the shipping.
That’s it for this week’s update!
Order Deadline Monday, December 13th by midnight for Wednesday, December 15th shipment!
