The last Milk & More Reminder of 2020!
We hope everyone had a beautiful Christmas! Brian and I spent the day in the kitchen cooking and enjoying each other’s company (a pretty normal Christmas for us). And of course stalking our semi-feral cat, Babbitt. It was a lovely day.
See ya later, 2020!On the subject of cooking, if we can point to one positive regarding the pandemic, it’s that people have returned to the kitchen. Brian and I have always loved to cook, and it’s been a pleasure sharing that passion and seeing what you all conjure up with our products. Our cooking philosophy is to understand ingredients and how to use them without a recipe. In our search for products, we look for all-natural items to aid the creative process and make time in the kitchen fun.
For example: our all-natural Tiberino one-pot meals. We’ve made several of the risottos now, first following the directions, and now modifying. Last week we made the asparagus leek risotto using chicken broth instead of water and added some leftover chicken, a home-grown bell pepper from a friend’s greenhouse, Danzeisen cream, and fresh grated Parmesan cheese. It was delicious, decadent, and super easy. Just think what you can do with your own holiday leftovers!
